The Pilates Method of exercise and activity is a unique system of Core Stability work and combined with general stretching and strengthening exercises developed many years ago by Joseph Hubertus Pilates. Pilates-Professional courses are an holistic approach to exercise, aiming to create muscle balance and maintain normal mobility in the joints. Muscle, both in term of strength and endurance can effect support of the spine. Our general posture can be effected due to the lack of strength or tightness. This in turn can effect our movements and in long-term quality of life. The root of many back problems is instability in the spine. |
